Dr. Marilen Parungao Balolong discusses how to effectively convey the results of your research in the recently-conducted webinar “Scientific Writing Toolbox: Connecting the Nuts and Bolts of Your Data for Effective Communication and Dissemination” hosted by PIKO. In the webinar, Dr. Marilen Parungao Balolong gave an overview of the research publication and shared her tips on how to find your own writing style, which was then followed by a Q&A portion moderated by PIKO President Jubert Marquez.

Dr. Marilen Parungao Balolong is currently a Professor of Microbiology at the Department of Biology and a University Scientist serving as the Associate Dean for Research and Public Service of the College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines Manila, and a Diplomate of the Philippine Academy for Microbiology.
